Photography: Chickens & Dogs of Mexico

As a photographer who has an affinity for feathered friends, of course I’ve been taking the opportunity to document the street chickens throughout Mexico. I have no idea what the process will entail, but I’m collecting photos to eventually publish a photo book, tentatively titled ‘Pollos de Mexico’ (Chickens of Mexico).

I didn’t originally intend to document the doggos, as street dogs seem to be much more commonly photographed than chickens. But slowly, they’ve been winning me over, and I’ve started a collection of dog portraits as well (both street dogs, and the dogs at our house-sits).

In the meantime, I’ll keep chasing chickens 🐓✨
